Golf Inc. selected the Village at Bear Trap Dunes for its aesthetics and the golf course's playability saying it was designed to "reflect a coastal feel, with plentiful sand dunes, bunkers and water hazards" and that "18 of the holes are essentially core golf, with the additional nine winding unobstrusively through the community."
